Documentary Packages
All organizations have stories that reveal the true impact of their work — however, most have never captured them in a way that people can connect with and believe in.
As a result, important work goes unseen and undervalued.

What we do
Documentary filmmaking, simplified into clear packages

Who we are
We’re Dan and Camille, the team behind Pop Media. After more than a decade in the field, we’ve learned how to step in quickly, listen closely, and make the heart of a project unmistakable.

Packages
Designed to reduce complexity without sacrificing craft, we’ve refined our process to help clients move with momentum. The result is a project that’s simple to plan, budget, and complete.

Documentary
Our core offer centres around short documentaries that capture the people, process, and purpose behind your work.

Supporting Assets
Every package includes a curated set of still frames, a library of captured footage, and full archival. Everything stays organized and accessible, giving you a growing bank of content over time.

Process
A simple workflow: discovery, planning, filming, and post-production. Clear review points, two rounds of revisions, then final delivery.

Saik’uz First Nation
Old Growth, New Beginnings is a longer documentary created with Saik’uz First Nation to communicate where they stand as stewards of their traditional territory. The film helps set context for incoming industry partners by showing what has already occurred on the land and what respectful engagement needs to look like going forward.
Film
Archive
The film turned out amazing and captures a First Nations struggle to balance environmental protection and economic and community development. Pop Media listened very carefully to what we wanted to see out of the film and were very responsive to our schedule demands. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality film production.

How do we get started?
Send us a note and we’ll share our Welcome Deck with package details and pricing. Choose the package that fits, and we’ll get your project rolling.
How long does a typical project take?
Most projects take 4–6 weeks from discovery to final delivery, depending on scheduling and feedback timing. If you have a deadline, tell us early and we’ll build the plan around it.
Where are you based, and do you travel?
We’re based in Northern BC and built for on-location work. We travel across BC and beyond when needed, with travel quoted based on location and scope.
Do you offer drone footage?
Yes. We are Transport Canada Advanced certified and can capture compliant aerial footage where it’s permitted. If a location has restrictions, we’ll plan accordingly.
Who is this best for?
Organizations doing meaningful, complex, or people-centred work are a great fit.
